I joined FOX 17 in May 2009 as Assignment Editor.

My duties include assigning crews to cover news events around the area as well as posting stories on the web site, among other things…

Prior to joining FOX 17 I served as a newspaper executive, overseeing news and sports operations for newspaper groups in suburban Grand Rapids and before that Iowa, Minnesota and Indiana.

I was also was a high school teacher in Indiana, a graduate of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind., and a native of Logansport, Ind.
