Fox 17 News, the station with the most local news in West Michigan, is looking for a Part-Time Editor.  This position is responsible for editing video for the production of the FOX 17 news broadcasts.  This position requires a degree in broadcast production or related equivalent experience.  Extensive knowledge of non-linear editing, especially final cut pro is essential.  The candidate must be able to take direction but also work on their own.

Fox 17 News, the station with the most local news in West Michigan, is looking for a Full-time Reporter/MMJ. This position generates and develops stories; writes, produces and voices those stories for multiple platforms.  We are looking for someone who can engage our viewers with great liveshots and compelling stories.

This position requires a degree in journalism or equivalent related experience. Should have strong journalistic ethics, strong writing skills and the ability to deliver up-to-the-minute news information live from the field.

However, if you are a person who likes adventure, likes to be outside in all types of weather, and has a visual eye, we may have a job for you.   We are looking for someone who likes to get out in the world, can get along with all types of personalities, and can tell a compelling story with video. This person must be able to deal with snow, rain, mud, and heat while carrying 25 pounds of gear. Knowledge of new technology is a must. We are looking for someone who is a leader not a follower.

This position often works alone on a story requiring solid journalistic judgment.  Must have good driving record and 3 years experience shooting and editing.  A degree in photography or journalism or equivalent experience is preferred.

Fox 17 News, the station with the most local news in West Michigan, is looking for a Part-Time News Producer.  This position will work alongside experienced journalists to produce consistently unique and fast-paced newscasts.  This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door by writing scripts, helping on the assignment desk, working on our digital platforms and producing multiple newscasts each week.

 FOX 17, a Tribune-owned television station in the 39th market, is seeking a highly motivated account executive to join our sales staff.   The ideal candidate should be goal driven and energetic with a strong desire to succeed. Responsibilities include developing new business both on air and online, developing customizable marketing plans and networking throughout the West Michigan community. Candidate will also assist with media research and reporting. Strong computer, writing and presentation skills are a must! FOX 17 WXMI, a Tribune-owned station in the 39th market, is currently seeking a highly talented and equally motivated freelance graphic designer to create the daily graphics for our FOX 17 Morning Newscast as well as other locally produced programs. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast paced environment, has a good design eye and is proficient in Adobe Photoshop. Illustrator, After Effects and Final Cut Pro skills are a plus.
