GRAND RAPIDS, Mich –
Police units blocked intersections in downtown Grand Rapids around Grand Rapids Community College Friday morning, but examination by a bomb squad determined the package was not dangerous.
The discovery of the package disrupted traffic and GRCC opertations, with the college placed on a two-hour delay.
City bomb units arrived shortly after 6:15 a.m.
Occupants of Ford Fieldhouse on Lyon Street were evacuated.
