GRAND RAPIDS, Mich –
The Rapid bus system is offering free rides for veterans Sunday and Monday.
To ride for free, passengers have to show one of the following: DD214 card, Veteran ID card, or VFW membership card.
The Rapid is joining with other transit systems across the country in an effort sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) to acknowledge and thank our country’s veterans.
