A Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputy was arrested early Thursday with drunk driving charges.
The off-duty deputy was identified as April Barfoot, 34 of Portage, Michigan.
According to police, she was arrested after 2 a.m. A Portage officer spotted Barfoot’s car running with its door open in a bank parking lot.
Barfoot was arraigned Thursday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Barfoot is scheduled to appear in court on November 29, 2012.
