BROHMAN, Mich-
An investigation is underway in Newaygo County after two people were found dead inside a home Thursday Afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to a home on Division Street in Brohman after getting a call from a woman saying she found 2 people dead inside. When officers got to the house, they discovered 56 year old Joseph Cherneski and 55 year old Patricia VanDyk, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police say the couple had last been seen around 4:30pm on Wednesday.
Investigators say there doesn’t appear to be any forced entry into the home and are investigating the case as a double homicide.
