SOUTH HAVEN, Mich –
A portion of I-196 will be closed briefly Sunday morning, but it’s unclear exactly when.
A notice from the Michigan Department of Transportation says the closure will take place around the M-140 Exit 118 south of South Haven where LaGrange Street meets the expressway.
The closure is scheduled for some time between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday (November 18) and will only last for about 15 minutes.
Fiber optic line must be hung over the highway.
The MDOT notice did not specify a detour.
