KALAMAZOO, Mich., — Muskegon Community College (MCC) and Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business have entered a joint agreement that offers students joint admission to both schools.
Through this agreement, students can earn an associate degree at MCC and seamlessly transfer to Western to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. They can be admitted as high school seniors or during their freshman year of high school, and after completing an associate agree at MCC, they can transfer to Western to begin their junior year.
Under the agreement, MCC transfer students who have a minimum grade of C in each class that is part of the agreed upon curriculum will have that course count toward a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
The presidents of both schools formalized the agreement on Nov. 15 during a signing ceremony at Western and the first students in the program are expected to enroll in the fall of 2013.
