The 13th annual Grand Rapids Interfaith Thanksgiving Service takes place Monday night to let you give thanks however you would like to.

It starts at 7 p.m. at Bethlehem Church on Commerce Street.

“The human desire to express gratitude is felt among all religious traditions and in secular society,” organizers say. “How people express thanksgiving takes many different shapes and styles.”

In the first 12 years of the event, people from a wide variety of religions have joined to give thanks, including Christians, Jews, Muslims, Baha’i, Buddhists, Hindus, secular and others.

The organizers are taking donations to benefit Family Promise of Grand Rapids.
