Light winds, some clearing, and plenty of humidity in the low-levels are the perfect ingredients for fog, and that is exactly what is happening tonight.
As of 9:00PM EST, visibilities are as low as 1/8 of a mile in Ludington, 1.5 miles in Benton Harbor, and 1.7 miles in Big Rapids. The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for areas along and west of U.S. 131 until 11:00AM Wednesday. If clearing continues, additional counties will likely be added.
I’ll have more on the fog on FOX 17 News at 10, and of course Jon Shaner will have updates starting at 5:00AM on FOX 17 Morning News.
