Firearms Missing From Hastings Residence

HASTINGS TWP, Mich.– After returning home from Afghanistan, a Hastings resident noticed two of his firearms were missing from his E Bond St. home.

The resident  reported to the Hastings police, on November 13, that a Smith and Wesson M&P 15, with 1,000 rounds of ammunition and a Century Arms Sporter .308 were missing from his home. The owner valued the rifles at about $2,300.

The resident told police that the rifles would have been taken between September 2012 and November 2012. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence.

Police are looking into the incident.
