More than 3,000 runners are expected to descend upon downtown Grand Rapids for the 20th anniversary of the Turkey Trot.
The race costs $30 for same-day registration, and it starts at 8 a.m. at Van Andel Arena on Fulton Street. If you want to take it a little easier, the 1K begins at 8:40 a.m.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary, there will be a stadium finish back at Van Andel. The proceeds benefit K-12 athletic programming at Grand Rapids Public Schools.
