Michigan State clinched a bowl berth, and got a road win over Minnesota on Saturday 26-10.
Spartan running back Le’Veon Bell carried the Spartans to the win with a career-high 266 yards on 35 carries.
Despite a disappointing season and high pre-season hopes, the Spartans finish the year 6-6 and are now bowl eligible. MSU’s defense is the high point in the year. The Spartan defense is ranked seventh in the nation and #1 in the Big Ten in yards allowed per game.
In addition, MSU kicker Dan Conroy made four of his five field goal attempts.
