GRAND RAPIDS, Mich–
Police are looking for suspects after two different armed robberies Monday morning in Grand Rapids.
The first incident happened around 6:15 a.m. near Franklin and Madison SE. A 16-year-old was robbed by a black male wearing a mask, with a handgun. He then went back home and told his parents, who called police.
The second incident happened around 7 a.m. at Sigsbee and Fuller SE. A second teenager was robbed at a bus stop by two people. The first suspect is again a black male wearing a mask, with a handgun. The second suspect may be Hispanic, but police do not yet have a good description. There was a report of one shot being fired during this robbery, however police have not yet found any casings or other specific evidence.
No injuries were reported in either robbery.
