GRAND RAPIDS, Mich –
The line-up for this year’s Gilda’s Laughfest continues to grow, and this morning organizers announced some pretty impressive additions to the event.
Added to the 2013 line-up will be the Blue Late Night Comedy Series, including Eric Andre, who is the star of ABC’s “Don’t Trust The T…In Apartment 23,” Neal Brennan, co-creator of “Chappelle’s Show,” and one of Comedy Central’s top 10 comics, Lonnie love.
There will also be the Best of the Midwest Showcase, featuring 10 comics going for a prize of $2,500.
The Stand-up Comedy Competition Presented By Gun Lake Casino will have 10 comics competing for $10,000.
And the Clean Comedy Showcase Presented By Bissell will include eight comics who have been selected for their ability to make people laugh without vulgarity.
Tickets for LaughFest 2013 go on sale Friday, Nov. 30, at 9:00 a.m. LaughFest runs March 7-17.
Last year more than 55,000 people attended LaughFest in 2012, and this year looks to be even bigger and better, with all proceeds going to Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids and its programs for families affected by cancer.
