Bomb Threat Evacuates School

PALO, Mich- The Ionia County Sheriff’s Department confirms that Palo Community Schools was evacuated because of a bomb threat the district received.

The evacuation was ordered around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Students from the school were transported to Palo Methodist Church on lock down.

Canine units were called and searched the school. Nothing was found and the scene was cleared around 4:00 p.m.
