PORTAGE, Mich. – Police are searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of a gas station that occurred on Wednesday, November 28.
Around 4:18 p.m. the Portage Department of Public Safety responded to a report of an armed robbery at a gas station in the 5400 block of South Westnedge Ave.
According to the police, the suspect is a lone white male who showed the clerk a gun and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
The authorities called in a K-9 unit from the Kalamazoo Department of Safety to help search for the suspect, but were unable to find him.
