Ndamukong Suh avoided suspension, but he did not avoid a $30,000 fine handed down by the NFL for a kick in last Thursday’s game against Houston.

In the Thanksgiving day game, Suh’s left cleat hit Texans quarterback Matt Schaub’s groin. On Wednesday, Suh spoke to reporters for the first time regarding the incident and said he would not apologize to Schaub because the hit was not intentional.

Suh was suspended for two games last season after stomping on Green Bay Packer Evan Dietrich-Smith. Suh apologized to Dietrich-Smith.
