Downtown Grand Rapids To Host More Than 4,000 Farmers For Expo

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Downtown Grand Rapids will prepare to host more than 4,000 farmers, greenhouse growers and agriculture professionals when they visit for the 2012 Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable and Farm Market Expo.

Attendees will visit from across the nation as well as Canada and the expo is scheduled to run from Dec. 3 until Dec. 6 at DeVos Place.

The event will feature almost 400 exhibitors covering four acres of space and participants can attend seminars that cover a variety of topics including organic fruit production and crop forecasts.

Local farmers who want to attend can pre-register at the expo website.
