MUSKEGON, Mich. — Mercy Health Partners and West Shore Cardiology are teaming up to offer free heart screenings for high school students.

Students ages 13 to 18 can get the screenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m on Wednesday at Youngberg Auditorium on Mercy Health’s Hackley Campus. You need to pre-register on Mercy Health’s website before the screening.

Screenings take between 10 and 30 minutes to complete.

In the past two years, Mercy Health has screened almost 1,400 high school students, identifying at least five people with potentially life-threatening conditions.

If you miss the screenings today, more are scheduled for March 20, April 17, July 24, and August 7 .
