GREENVILLE, Mich – The Handy Market in Greenville was robbed Thursday evening.
The store is located at 813 South Lafayette Street, the robbery was reported just after 6:30 p.m.
Police searched with K-9 units who allegedly fled on foot.
A clerk told FOX 17 News the store was robbed by a masked suspect who came in and ordered the clerk behind the counter. The clerk plead with the suspect not to harm anyone.
The clerk was ordered to open the drawer, the suspect nabbed the cash and took off on foot.
The suspect was last seen headed east on Lafayette Street between several apartment buildings.
The clerk never saw a weapon, no one was injured in the incident.
