GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- A new Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) bus route will be starting on Monday, December 10.

The Monroe North Dash transit service is free and will run every 20 minutes. The bus route will be in service every Monday through Friday from 6:30 in the morning until 10 at night.

The line will connect downtown Grand Rapids to the Medical Mile then to the Monroe North area. The service is operated by The Rapid.

The route is part of a two-year trial experiment between the Downtown Development Authority, the City of Grand Rapids Parking Services and the North Monroe Business Association.
