GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids rolled out the red carpet for one special employee’s first day on the job.
Physician assistant Ashley Wharton was greeted with a red carpet, cake, and well wishers as she reported to work Monday morning.
It’s all in celebration of Mary Free Bed’s 1,000th employee. The hospital has experienced unusual growth during the past 17 months, with the addition of 267 staff members.
