Michigan Electoral College To Vote Today

LANSING, Mich– The popular vote may be over for the presidential election, but the electoral college has not yet voted here in Michigan.

The 16 Democratic presidential electors are voting for President Barack Obama to get re-elected, along with Vice President Joe Biden. They will convene at 2 p.m. Monday, in the Senate Chamber of the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing.

Senate Democratic leader Gretchen Whitmer will preside over the session.
