GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — The Mel Trotter Ministries downtown location and five thrift store locations were abuzz with activity Thursday.
Christmas food boxes were given out to 700 families. The downtown Grand Rapids location handed out 450 boxes, while each of the organization’s thrift stores handed out 50 boxes. Mel Trotter thrift stores are in Grand Rapids, Belding, Jenison, Middleville, and Sparta.
