Pair Robs Poker Event; One Arrested

NORTON SHORES, Mich. — Participants in a charity poker game found themselves victims of an armed robbery overnight.

One of the suspects has been caught.

Two masked men went into the Bob Hi Lanes, 2930 S. Getty Street, found a charity poken event put on by the White Cloud Lions Club, and demanded money. One of the men had a gun. The other implied he had one.

The suspects got away with some money, but police aren’t saying how much.

One robber was described by police as being a short, stocky, Hispanic male n a dark hooded sweatshirt, a red bandana over his face. He was arrested, but police haven’t released his name pending arraignment.

The second suspect, the one with the gun, is being sought. Police decribed him as a light-skinned, tall and skinny black or Hispanic man in a dark hooded sweatshirt with a blue bandana covering his face.
