The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information after a business was broken into and copper pipe was stolen.

The department announced Wednesday morning that at 1:30 a.m. Friday it responded to a report of a burglary at Triangle Plumbing in the 21000 block of 26 Mile Road near Duck Lake and the Springport area in Clarence Township. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered that two unidentified people had attempted to cover a surveillance camera near the business, then broke into a storage trailer and stole approximately 400 pounds of 10-foot lengths of one-half to three-inch copper pipes.

Deputies believe the suspects left in an older-model, dark-colored pickup truck.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Steve Hinkley of the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division by calling (269) 781-0963 or Silent Observer at (517) 629-2700. Cash rewards are available in this case. Anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in this crime are eligible for the cash reward.
