HOLLAND, Township — A man is being sought for home invasi0n and assaulting a Holland Township woman Thursday afternoon.
At 3:13 p.m. Thursday, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a home invasion on Seven Pine Drive near 120th Avenue in Holland Township. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found a 25-year-old Holland Township woman, who told them that a male with a medium build, wearing all black clothing and a black mask had entered her home and assaulted her.
She said the man then fled out the rear of the residence.
Deputies conducted a canine search but were unable to locate the suspect.
The victim said the suspect acted alone and was only in the home for a short time.
She was taken to Holland Hospital to be evaluated for possible injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with any information about the suspect, home invasion or assault should contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office or Silent Observer.
