ENSLEY TOWNSHIP, Mich., — Around 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, Michigan State Police responded to a two vehicle crash in Newaygo County.

One vehicle was traveling westbound on 120th Street near Pear Avenue and lost control, crossing the center line. A second vehicle was traveling eastbound and, according to troopers, could not avoid the crash.

The only person in the first vehicle was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital and is in stable condition, and the three people in the second vehicle were also injured and transported to the same hospital. Two of those people are in stable condition and a third is in critical condition.

The crash is under investigation, but MSP said alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor.
