GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- A couple of local guys are shooting a short film in West Michigan and they would like you to be part of it.

Ottawa Hills High School grad, William Jackson, also known as Willie The Kid in the hip-hop community, is teaming up with director and Michigan native Kevin Budzynski for the project. It is called “The Fly.”

“’The Fly’ is about a bartender in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that has a secret identity,” executive producer Scott Erickson, another West Michigan native, said. “The secret is he’s an underground music star online, but he’s never shown his face to the public.”

Tuesday there will be a chance to be part of a crowd and concert scene. You are asked to show up between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the Pyramid Scheme, located at 68 Commerce Avenue SW in Grand Rapids.
