Red Wings Get First Win of 2013

The Detroit Red Wings got their first win of 2013 thanks to a couple rookies.

Damien Brunner scored in a shootout to give the Red Wings a 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

In addition, Brian Lashoff, who was called up from the Grand Rapids Griffins just hours before the game, scored Detroit’s first goal of the game in the second period.
