2 Head To Trial For Murder Of GVSU Advisor

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A trial has been scheduled for the two suspects charged with murdering a Grand Valley State University advisor.

Timothy Miller and Maceo Scott have been charged with felony murder and armed robbery in connection to the death of Santiago Zapata Jr.

The two men will be tried together.

The trial is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on April 15.

Zapata was killed on Sept. 25, 2012.
