GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — Lake-effect snow showers will continue in parts of West Michigan during the day Tuesday. Most of the snow will stay west of U.S. 131.
In general, another one to three inches of snow are likely through Tuesday evening in the lake-effect snow bands. This is on top of accumulations Monday that ranged from three to six inches in most locations.
Even where snow is less of an issue, frigid temperatures will continue around West Michigan. Readings this morning hovered around zero, with many wind chills between ten and twenty below zero. Temperatures will not climb above ten degrees in many places in the afternoon.
