MUSKEGON, Mich. – The Muskegon County Sheriff Department says one person may have been shot in Muskegon on Wood Street Saturday evening. It happened around 6:45 p.m. near the Wood Street Market.
Police tell FOX 17 they are actively looking for at least one suspect, and say the victim suffered non-life threatening wounds and was released from the hospital.
Witnesses say the incident was an attempted robbery, and the victim had blood on his cheek, but was alert and talking.
