GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A car slammed into a building Friday morning, sending a 13-year-old to the hospital.
Weather is believed to have been a factor when 77-year-old woman who was driving a Chevrolet Cavalier lost control and hit a building at Eastern Avenue and Baxter Street SE around 9:15 a.m.
A 13-year-old girl in the car was hurt by the seat belt and when the airbag deployed. The teen was taken to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.
