BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The city of Battle Creek has lifted a Boil Water Advisory for two areas after repairing a “significant water main leak.”
The city announced Sunday morning that its Water Division had repaired a significant water main leak east of the intersections of M-37 and M-89 in the Urbandale area. It then issued a Boil Water Advisory for the following two areas:
* On Michigan Avenue West from Bedford Road South to Dunning Avenue.
* On Hinman Avenue South from Michigan Avenue West to and including Bond Avenue.
The city announced that follow-up testing “has confirmed no coliform bacteria are present in the water supply,” according to a media release.
