GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A couple of quick-hitting weather systems will leave some additional snow on the ground over the next couple of days, creating the possibility of some tricky driving conditions in spots as well.

An area of low pressure will slide south of West Michigan Monday, resulting in snow that will slow things down for some people on the morning commute.  Overall snow accumulations through early afternoon are likely to be two inches or less in most locations, although some places along I-94 may see as much as two to four inches.

After a break Monday night and early Tuesday, another ‘clipper’ system will move through during the day Tuesday.  This one will have more widespread impact during the day, although accumulations once again aren’t expected to exceed the two- to four-inch range.

Generally milder and quieter weather are expected toward the end of the week; check out the Weather page for the full 7 Day Forecast.  I’ll have live updates with snow moving in from 5:00 to 9:00 A.M. on FOX 17 Morning News.
