GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Radar is indicating an area of heavy snow moving onto the lakeshore as of 9:15 A.M. This snow is reducing visibility to one-half mile or less in spots, and is heaviest between Holland and South Haven. I-196 is likely to rapidly become snow-covered and slippery.
Forecast trends suggest this burst of snow may weaken a bit as it moves inland, but will still affect parts of Allegan and southern Kent counties.
