Monday Forecast: Windy & Colder, Some Snow Returns

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A cold front will result in falling temperatures, along with very windy conditions developing during the day Monday.  In addition, some snow showers will result in an inch or two of fresh accumulation for most of West Michigan by Tuesday morning.

Temperatures in the 40s overnight will drop into the 30s by mid-morning, then hover in the low to mid-30s most of the day.  This will prevent road conditions from becoming ugly on a widespread basis, but some lingering slippery spots are still likely with some ice still on the roads from over the weekend.
