Missing Teenager Sought In Isabella County

ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. — The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a missing teenager.

Juan Romero III, 19, is a vulnerable adult who is missing from his home.  He suffers from several mental disorders and is not capable of taking care of himself.  He resides at 9080 E. Pleasant Valley Road in Shepherd, does not drive and was discovered missing around 11 p.m. Friday.

Romero was involved in an assault on one of the workers in the group home Friday and can be violent. He has not taken his medications since the morning hours Friday and is not familiar with the area.

Romero is described as a 19-year-old American Indian, 5-feet-11, 280 pounds with long black hair usually in a ponytail and a tattoo of “Big Brother” on the left side of his neck and another tattoo of “Juan” and the number “3” below it on his right forearm.  He was last seen wearing a royal blue T-shirt, dark gray zip-up hoodie, black sweatpants and white and black shoes.

He may have a MP3 player with gold headphones with him.
