GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — For the first time in 2013, West Michigan will likely go three consecutive days without even a trace of precipitation this weekend.
Dry weather is forecast through at least Monday for the Grand Rapids area, but sunshine may not be as plentiful as many would hope. Temperatures will also stay below average for the next few days.
For Friday, clouds will be difficult to break up, but some sun is possible late in the day with highs in the low 30s. Saturday may feature a bit more sun, but with highs only in the upper 20s.
The next chance of snow doesn’t arrive until at least Tuesday, when an area of low pressure will slide to our south and some wet weather may graze the region.
Beyond that, it appears a warming trend will kick in for the second half of next week, with temperatures in the 40s to (maybe) near 50° by next weekend.
