Praying they catch the cretin! If he escaped on foot then they should be able to catch him. My guess is he was from the trailer park across the street. That would be the first place I would check. More than likely a meth addict.

Not racist are you mike? I have friends who have responded to that area and have taken people out who have od'd on stuff. So can see where she would think the dude would head over there. My guess is they are checking all the housing areas around there. No need to attack someone because they state the obvious. Seems more like you have a chip on your shoulder. Possibly a meth head yourself? lol

No, I happen to be black. I just think a little stereotype goes a long ways. Not all people in trailer parks are crooks or do meth. It's a financial thing/choice.

That is okay Linda, I think most of us figured where you were talking about. Probably someone local who doesn't live too far from there and has been watching the store. Okay… I watch too much CSI. Definitely not a laughing matter. I hope they catch the jerk.

How about some updates on this story? Anyone hurt? Other than a black ski mask, anything else notable about the dude we should know or watch out for? Flee on foot, by car, by snowmobile???? Seriously, the story needs to tell more.

Im glad all of the employees are safe. Scary, Im sure their children and family and friends will appreciate their well being. It's a choice to walk in to get a contract. Personally, I choose not to

THE STORE WOULDN'T BE OPEN, IF THEY WEREN'T MAKING MONEY. IT'S TO BAD THAT THERE ALLOWED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE POOR PEOPLE THAT ARE JUST TRYING TO MAKE IT, DAY TO DAY. BUT IF PEOPLE WOULD STOP SIGNING THOSE CONTRACTS, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE A BUSINESS.

Does anybody know if they caught this person yet? My parents live over there?? Scary thing….what is going wrong with west michigan?! Its getting worse and worse!!

What if Mr. Cash Advance was "packing" a gun? Just saying. I live just down the street and was in the Verizon store next door. This is "hitting" really close to home. So to all the ignorance about gun ownership; and to the ones who say it won't happen here. . . stop hitting the snooze and wake up!

What ever happened to society that allows people to immediately turn the focus to how awful u think the payday loan industry is? Lets us not get away from the FACT that a man walkend into a PLACE OF BUSINESS and pointed a gun at an UNARMED woman committed a CRIME. The fact is who cares if it was a payday loan office or a veterinarians office….fact is ITS A CRIME and the REAL focus should be on finding the person so the woman can feel safe again!!!! Its a real shame to see the lack of empathy in this world.

To the woman affected by this horrible thing, may u find peace upon his arrest.
