Thursday Forecast: Sunny, But Still Cool

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Weather Thursday will stay quiet around West Michigan, but another dose of snow is likely as the weekend kicks off.

Clear and cool conditions Thursday morning will lead to plenty of sunshine, mixed with some thin clouds in the afternoon.  Temperatures will stay in the upper 30s, a few degrees below average for mid-March.

A disturbance will develop and head into the Great Lakes during the day Friday, leading to a possible rain/snow mix in the afternoon as highs climb near 40°.  That will change to all snow by Friday evening, with a general one to three inches of snow likely for most of West Michigan by Saturday morning.

Snow will end quickly on Saturday morning, with quiet and cool conditions resuming that will hang on throughout the weekend.
