WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — Spring officially begins Wednesday morning, but it appears it’s going to be a while before we get some springlike temperatures in West Michigan.
This image from FOX 17 Future Track shows a forecast of snowfall amounts through Wednesday evening. Areas mainly along and west of U.S. 131 could get from 3 to 6 inches. It is these areas that are under a winter weather advisory until Midnight Wednesday. In addition to the falling snow, winds will be quite strong, producing some blowing snow and frigid windchills.
Overnight tonight, wet roads could get slick as temperatures drop below freezing. There could even be some school delays or closings. Make sure you watch FOX 17 Morning News from 5 until 9. Jon Shaner will have the latest on the weather forecast and of course any school delays or closings as well.
