KENT COUNTY, Mich. – More than 4,500 customers were without power for a time early Tuesday morning.
According to Consumers Energy’s real-time Outage Map, the outages spanned parts of Grand Rapids, Comstock Park, Alpine Township, and other areas in Kent County.
It is unclear if high winds or other weather conditions played a role in the outages.
Power was restored to most customers by 4:30 a.m.
