CASCADE, Mich. — Drivers may be wondering where the lane closures are.
After much media hoopla over the beginning of the resurfacing project on M-11/28th Street, all lanes were open on 28th Street at the site of the first scheduled lane closure east of Patterson Avenue.
The Michigan Department of Transportation cancelled the utility work on Tuesday due to weather.
The crews will be back, however.
The MDOT schedule says lane closures on eastbound and westbound 28th Street will return east of Patterson Avenue Thursday at 9 a.m. The eastbound lane closure will continue through Saturday at 6 p.m. The westbound lane closure will continue Tuesday around 7 a.m.
MDOT has not been specific about what happens on 28th Street after that.
