(WEST MICHIGAN) — Light lake effect snow flurries this morning have come to an end and skies are trying to clear towards the lakeshore. Skies will continue to attempt to clear through this afternoon and temperatures will start to warm slightly. High temperatures Friday afternoon will warm into the low to mid 30’s, which is still around ten degrees below average. As we head into the weekend temperatures will warm into the low 40’s with calm winds and partly cloudy skies. By Sunday clouds will increase as a system moves through the region. Some areas south of I-94 could see some light snow late Sunday evening and overnight but the system continues to move farther south, which means many of our areas will likely see no impact at all besides cooler temperatures and cloudy skies.
