GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–The lack of spring weather didn’t stop dozens of families from participating in the 5th annual Eggsapalooza Charity Event in Grand Rapids.
The fundraiser for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital took place at the Hampton Inn & Suites and SpringHill Suites by Marriott off 28th Street on Saturday.
Little ones were bundled up outside to hunt for eggs and play games, while others spent time inside making bracelets and coloring.
“So even though we didn’t get a sunny day today, we are happy everyone came out for a wonderful turnout,” said organizer Angela Mann.
The group also grilled out and got plenty of time with the Easter Bunny.
“We do it every year so we can give back to the community, we like to have an opportunity for everyone to come out and enjoy,” said Mann.
