Michigan Basketball

AUBURN HILLS, Mich – VCU (27-9)   had no answer today for the University of Michigan (28-7) in the third round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament as Michigan rolled 78-53 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Michigan was lead by freshman Mitch McGary who had 21 points and 14 rebounds. Big Ten player of the year, Trey Burke had 18 points and 7 assists. Glenn Robinson III and Tim Hardaway Jr. also chipped in with 14 points.

VCU was led by Juvonte Reddic with 16 points.

Michigan will play the winner of the Kansas and North Carolina game in Arlington Texas (Cowboys Stadium) on Friday Night.

Fox 17 will have much more on this game tonight at 10pm.
