WEST MICHIGAN – After a dull, gray, cloudy Saturday with temperatures only in the mid/upper 30s, there’s not much of an improvement the next few days. Temps continue to run about eight to ten degrees below normal for this time of year. We should be in the middle 40s for mid/late March.

After the chance for a few light snow showers Monday and Tuesday, temps will slowly moderate in to the 40s as we head through the end of next week. The week itself should be mainly on the quiet side with little/no appreciable precipitation expected the next several days. That said, some snow showers are possible along and south of I-94 Sunday P.M. through Monday as a low pressure system passes just to our south/east over the Ohio Valley.

There are indications that the longer range forecast may bring warmer, more seasonable temperatures the following week as the pattern begins to change a bit. Get more information on our local West Michigan forecast at www.fox17online.com/weather.
